Project: Repair and Restore Badly Damaged St. Filomena Statue

This resin statue of St. Filomena

didn't "travel well" from Italy to

Canada.

We were asked to put her back

together--from 88 useable pieces

and dozens of tiny shards into a stronger,

plaster-reinforced rebuilt statue that has now been

completed and is installed inside St. Clement Parish at St. Anne Church in Ottawa.

Project: Repair Damaged Arm of life-sized Crucifix at Saint Patrick Basilica

This beloved crucifix was damaged and Christ's right arm fell to the marble floor and was smashed into more than 60 pieces.   Parts of the arm, wrist and forearm were re-sculpted, including musculature and veins, then re-painted and re-attached to a re-built shoulder on the crucifix.

Project: Restoration of Worn Stations of the Cross,  Orleans

We were entrusted with restoring Stations of the Cross at St. Joseph Church in Orleans.  There were scores of deep cracks, some broken pieces, and damaged framing.  We added new structural plaster to the back, then meticulously refinished and restored each Station to its original beauty.

Project:  Restoration of Angels from a cemetery marker

Project:  Redesign church interior and Sanctuary at Holy Rosary Parish

Designed by Pauline Furmanczyk Winogron, the church interior - and most notably the Sanctuary - were tastefully refreshed with careful attention to the  dignity and original design of the church.  Stations of the Cross, the Sanctuary ornamentation and numerous statues were refurbished.  Construction was completed under the direction of Ron Colautti.

Project:  Repair damaged ivory crucifix for Pope Francis' Apostolic Nuncio to Canada

This antique crucifix belonging to the Papal Nuncio, H.E. The Most Rev. Luigi Bonazzi was extensively damaged in a fall.  The wood of the cross broke, and with it, the left arm of Christ.  The corpus is made of ivory and showed natural patina aging, but also some unsightly staining.  Fully restored by hand, the beautiful crucifix was returned to the nunciature in Canada's Capital.
